Parents and Citizens Association
The Parents and Citizens, or P & C, Association is a group of people who get together every fortnight to discuss issues that could help to raise funds to provide Pioneer students with a better learning environment (i.e. air conditioning in blocks such as L block and even keep the canteen up and running). It is also a link between the school and the community. The committee are as following:

P & C meetings are held every second Wednesday at 7:30p.m. and everyone is welcome! Most P & C members are working, and all have family responsibilities.
Can you spare a couple of hours a month to assist in your
child's school?
OUR NEW SCHOOL HALL:
On Wednesday night Mr Staples took the P & C down to our new Sports Hall. No longer just a shelter, O Block is now a proper hall, fully enclosed and ready for a whole variety of uses. It was a great feeling, after all these years of planning and waiting. This facility will make an enormous difference to the school and its community, and it was a revelation to see it so near to completion. All the louvres are in and the sprung wooden floor is under construction at a rapid rate.
The P & C are paying over a quarter of a million dollars towards the Hall, in yet another example of the importance of this group to our community. Considering the Cooler Schools air conditioning and the Hall, the P & C have raised half a million dollars towards $2.5 million worth of improvements. That's quite a feat for a small group of dedicated parents, and the fantastic work of the canteen ladies and volunteers.
