This extensive automated collection includes a variety of print, audio-visual and electronic resources including the Internet.  Students have access to the Library web pages on the Pioneer SHS Intranet from anywhere in the school.  Here they can check the availability of resources held in the Library collection and find help for research and assignments via links to appropriate, carefully chosen on-line resources.

Students are able to borrow up to 6 items for 14 days, unless items are on overnight loan or are part of a "frozen" collection.  The collection includes a wide range of videos and DVDs which are available for overnight borrowing.  Students are encouraged to make use of the library for their research, study and recreational needs.

One of the Library annexes has been set up as an audio-visual room where groups can view DVDs/Videos and Powerpoint presentations in a theatrette atmosphere.
